This sounds like an excellent idea, let me know if it works out for you, I have a large 30" Apple Cinema screen which is excellent for editing photos, but some of those controls can get pretty small and out of the way.

I think he's looking to map a series of midi hardware knobs to each of the sliders in the Develop module in Lightroom, so that he can just spin the physical knob to adjust his favorite sliders without having to touch a mouse and click on a relatively tiny control. Not the direction you asked about, but did you know you can click on the numbers for each control then either type in an absolute number or use the up/down arrow keys? I haven't tried this, but I like the idea. If keystrokes are not enough, might help to map keys to other events. I have also a tablet and it doesnt feel very comfortable to adjust with the pen.įor translating MIDI to key strokes, MIDI2KEY could help (see /showthread.php?t=50704) Hmm, no, i´m looking for real hardware knobs. Especially if you adjust leverls/hue/saturation/etc clicking right on the image. It is a very nice way to tweak your images in the develop module (or any other raw converter with a lot of sliders). So i´d like to have some hardware sliders and knobs to control colors, exposure etc. I´m lookin for a way to control the LR Sliders with external jog-shuttles or knobs.Ĭlicking the color sliders and other controls in LR is very uncomfortable and no way intuitive.
